Landscape Style (English) In Landscape Design

In the eighteenth century, landscaping parks appeared in England, a new word in the art of the garden and a complete denial of the French regular style. The English appreciate the natural and not miraculous beauty of nature. The park becomes part of the surrounding natural landscape, preserving all its characteristics.

The main characteristics of landscape design style:

  • Natural forms of the landscape: hills, winding paths.
  • Branch trees with natural form of crowns.
  • Pond of natural contours: picturesque streams with shores covered with vegetation, slightly flooded ponds.
  • There are few garden flowers, they are planted in groups near the house or pond. But this is a true tumult of colors!
  • Farther from the house, scrub of low-scented meadows and forest flowers.
  • If your garden plot is rich in hills and other irregularities, use it for your own good. Decorate the garden in English style and enjoy the beauty every day!

TIP: IN THE ENGLISH PARK IS THE APPROPRIATE BRICK HOUSE, WHOSE WALLS ARE COVERED WITH IVY THICKETS. SIMPLE AND NATURAL!

Landscaping in Chinese style

The Chinese are people who have nothing to do with kondachka. Its gardens, a whole philosophy, deepened in that, you will find peace of mind and harmony. It was China that made natural art the dominant garden art and taught the rest of the world.

Let’s start with the fact that Chinese gardens are divided into three types:

  • Laughing (they give joy, pleasure and fill the soul with warmth);
  • Threatening (they show the true and powerful power of nature);
  • Idyllic (calm and tune in a meditative mood, restore vitality).
  • The Chinese garden has many stylistic subtleties:

In the heart of the garden, as Eastern philosophy requires, there must be five elements: fire, water, stone, air and wood.

The central composition of the garden is a gazebo. This is the main point of concentration of the vital energy of Qi.

The site should be extensive, mountainous, with smooth lines and winding roads.

It is necessary to create the impression that the garden has no end or end. Therefore, the fence is hidden from the eyes.

Humpbacks are an immutable decorative attribute of the Chinese garden. They serve as a ferry across the pond, which must surely look very natural.

It will be beautiful if you plant live fish in a pond. It can be a mirror carp or a golden crucian carp.

The flowers do not grow in flower beds, but in chaotic bushes. Or in wooden tubs and stone.

Special attention must be paid to the stones. In Eastern culture, they are considered living custodians of the past, full of energy. From strangely shaped stones you can create excellent artistic compositions.

Each of the plants planted in the eastern forest also has a certain value. For example, needles – a sign of longevity and any fruit tree – a continuation of the human race. Berezklets, forcing, honeysuckle, climbing roses – all this will become a lovely Chinese-style garden fill.

Choose Air Conditioning

When the heat arrives, there is nothing more comfortable and pleasant than turning on the air conditioning and being cool in your house. But to be able to enjoy it at full capacity it is necessary to make an adequate choice of the appliance and keep it in perfect condition, which includes cleaning or changing the air filter.

To choose the air conditioning that best suits us, the first thing we must do is look around and see the room in which we are going to place it, which will be essential to calculate the power we need and calculate its consumption. Also, we must take into account other factors as if the device is more or less silent or if we need a device with an excellent filter, something that will be necessary if we have allergies or asthma, or we want to avoid that our house smells of cigarette smoke, for example. As you already know, we have the best offers of cheap air conditioning installation in Barcelona.

If our house already has air conditioning ducts, the installation will be easier and more discreet. If not, we can choose fixed air conditioners or murals, capable of separating cold air in summer and hot in winter. We will not need to make a large investment, although everything will depend on the number of rooms in which we want to install the devices and the power of these.

The power will be determined by the number of square meters of the room that we want to cool. In general, for a room of about 30 square meters you need an air conditioner between 3,000 and 4,000 BTU. The formula to calculate watts is to establish between 100 and 140 BTU per square meter, although everything will depend on the orientation of our house and if we are going to have one or two air conditioners in the room.

Another important element to observe is consumption. A track will give us the label of energy efficiency of the device. In any case, there are formulas that allow us to calculate the power we need in a room. On the other hand, choosing an efficient air conditioning system will not only be noticed in the bill of light, but also in our conscience, since we will be taking care of the environment.

If, in addition, we seek air conditioning as healthy as possible, we must have good filters to improve air quality. If you have allergies or asthma, you can choose plasma or neoplasm filters, which are very effective when it comes to purifying and deodorizing the air.

In contrast, any standard or basic filter will provide a pleasant environment, although it must be taken into account that they need to be replaced periodically. There are also photo catalytic filters, which are cleaned with sunlight, and active carbon filters, perfect for smoking homes, although they also have a limited duration. On the other hand, if an ionizer is included, we will be emitting negative ions to balance the excess of positive ions that remain in the environment emitted by electrical appliances. In this way, the quality of the air we breathe will be much better.

There are people who buy an air conditioner and spend several years without changing the filter. This way the device is not working at full capacity! The filter is no more than a barrier that accumulates the waste so that it is not expelled into the air we are breathing. But, as the months go by, the filter becomes dirty and the device can start to malfunction or even break down. Also, if you do not change the air filters with some assiduity, if there are allergic people in the home they will end up suffering, since the air will not be completely clean.

Filter change

Changing the air filter is a relatively simple task. First, you have to locate the filter, which is usually located in appliances placed inside the home. Once located, we will take it out. In case it is covered by a metal band, we will unscrew it, being careful to keep the screws that we have removed safe.

If the filter has some type of identification we will point it out. And if you do not have it, we will measure its dimensions to choose a filter of this size. There are many types of filters on the market, from the most basic, which probably need to be replaced more frequently, to the more specific, which can even catch tiny particles to clean the air more effectively if we have allergic people at home.

When we have the new filter we will introduce it into our device, taking special care to put it in the correct position, since there is one side through which the air enters and another through which it exits.

If to remove the filter it was necessary to unscrew some compartment we will screw it again.

Do you want us to help you?

If you think it is complicated to change filters or you want to delegate this task to a professional, do not hesitate and give us a call. Our air conditioning technicians are perfectly qualified to perform not only this work, but also the installation of appliances and the repair of them, if necessary.

The passage of time can cause the air conditioning components to suffer and eventually deteriorate. If your air conditioner loses water, does not cool, does not turn on or needs a filter change, we can help you solve the problem or breakdown.

In each of our interventions we perform quality controls to offer you the best service. Our goal is to achieve your complete satisfaction and for that we work hard day after day. We also offer you the most competitive prices in the market, thanks to our large volume of work. If you are looking for an air conditioning installer, AC repair or technical service of your device, you have already found it.

Landscape Design Styles: Create A Garden Of Your Dreams!

The styles of landscape design are divided into two types: traditional (that come from past centuries) and modern (created by the efforts of the designers of the centuries ХХ-ХХI).

Which one is right for you? Let’s understand it together!

Traditional styles in landscape design

The methods of landscape design, of which we will now speak, came to us from different countries in Europe and Asia. They were created and perfected over the centuries and, therefore, there is no reason to doubt their relevance and reliability. What to choose, east or west?

US style in landscape design

If you are a perfectionist by nature and love the ideal geometric shapes, this is your option.

Have patience, rule, and compass!

Regular style canons:

  • Large and even garden area.
  • Beds of carpet flowers in the form of circles, ovals, rectangles or stars.
  • The grass should certainly prevail over flowering plants.
  • The pool is regularly, with a fountain in the center.

Transparent distribution of the space, the regular care of the plants and the irreproachability of each detail: these are the three pillars on which the idea of the design of the US landscape is based. If you like such subtle conservatism: move forward, create, and get up!

TIP: THE HOUSE SHOULD BE AN ORGANIC PART OF THE COMMON GARDEN. THIS IS APPROPRIATE FOR A MANSION IN THE STYLE OF CLASSICISM OR BAROQUE, WITH COLUMNS, A BROAD FRONT STAIRCASE AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES OF “REAL” LIFE.

Landscaping in Italian style

The Italian garden is another example of strict European conservatism. It is the predecessor of the US regular garden, its previous variation.

The design of the Italian landscape is the imposition of the correct geometry in the mountainous terrain with a seasoning of the Mediterranean Mediterranean flavor.

Its characteristics and stylistic canons:

  • Symmetrical design
  • The location of the garden on the terraces.
  • The underlined architecture and abundance of natural stone: walls for soil retention, stairs to connect yards, paved stone path.
  • Many sculptures in the old style.
  • Required availability of a pond in the correct way with a fountain.

The Italian-style garden should surprise the guest with bushes and trees perfectly cut in the shape of a ball, bucket, antique column, or even a strange bird.

The luxurious flower beds are dominated by saturated and bright colors: orange, red, yellow, and blue. These are roses, azaleas, iris, and anemones. Popular trellises of roses, as well as plants in ceramic vats and pots.

The old semi-ruined columns and the graceful sculptures create a special atmosphere, where everything breathes history.

Tips:  An italian garden with a terrace can break even in a small area. a stone wall with lobed grapes or a hedge will serve as a fence. to make your home part of the historic oasis, apply plaster on the walls and paint them white or cream, and cover the ceiling with terracotta tiles.
